Hi all,

It has been brought to my attention that there is some confusion on which repeater to use at 21:30.

Yes, it is still true that the NCS has the right to move the net to an alternative repeater due to interference, propagation or an ongoing conversation.  If there is an ongoing conversation going on, we have been able to break in at a convenient time and saying”standing by for net”.

Yes, the 539 repeater is having some issues, while the repeater is being updated.  We ask some patience.  The “time out” timer needs to be extended and K2XZ is working to replace some of the remote “ears”.

We have been granted the use of the 147.315, but the county reserves the right to ask WDN to move due to an emergency.

I know that there are some hams that participate with the WDN for they can’t access the 539 repeater and want to help move traffic or become a NCS and/or work as a liaison.  We appreciate their service.

So in conclusion, We will use 145.390 as primary and 147.315 as secondary, with the exception of Mondays and Saturdays night nets unless there is a problem with the main repeater.

I hope that has made things a little clearer and we need all of you for our great WDN team! 73.  Gary KB2YAA and Tim KD2IWN your WDN co-managers
